Full crop residues require multi-tine machines with good inter-row
clearance to avoid blockages. The more boil, the more elements, the more
twist imparted to the soil the more homogenous the mix. By definition,
machines of this nature are long, which can result in poor depth control
on undulating ground.
A machine which can move the whole soil profile at shallow depth whilst
maximising residue burial is the ideal. It is with this ideal in mind
that we produced the Mixmaster.

1 |
A perfect twenty centimetre tine pattern, fitted with twisted points works in
conjunction with the rear disks. |
|
2 |
The points throw the soil out and
the disks compensate by throwing the soil in. |
|
3 |
The disk spacing intermeshes the
tine spacing to ensure that the whole work zone is moved in one
pass. The number of elements and their effect, maximise trash
burial. |
|

A following leaf tine leveller finishes the job. |
|
5 |
In work the tine gangs are suspended
between three wheels at the front and two at the rear. The tine
frame is free to follow contours left and right and back to
front. Even under severely undulating ground the tines keep a
constant depth. |
|

The disk gangs again are free to
oscillate up and down and left to right. Not only removing tine
ridges but increasing the mix.
